This is an immersive theatre project by SenseTime, a leading artificial intelligence company in China who bought the copyright of the Hugo Award won science fiction The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu. I joined an amazing team of the most talented and most creative people tackling various problems on a mission to bring the narrative in fiction to a physical setting with great passion.
Courtyard Theatre
Through multimedia, interactive devices in public space customized scenes. We employed the sense of future and technology to harvest exclusive, authoritative immersive art experiences.
Concept Projects
TEA HOUSE OF WATERMARKS
This project is inspired by a trip to the countryside, where the old architecture facade marked by
waterdrops and other elements grabbed my attention. This project aimed to adopt that facade in a
new house to revoke nostalgic feelings from visitors.
Sandun—as an epitome of contemporary Chinese urbanism process
Under the process of modern urbanism in China. The government gets land from the farmers and by removing their houses. After demolishing them, real estate developers build compounds upon the land. In the studio of our final year, we choose the Sandun Town in Hangzhou, China. The farm lands and farmers’ houses are demolished and but the core of the old town still exists.
